RBI is introduced in 2008 by Baseball Canada to:

  • Ensure that local baseball associations apply core common criteria to ensure that consistent good practice is in place
  • To empower parents when choosing a local baseball association for their children.
  • To ensure that RBI Accredited Associations are recognized through a common approach to branding.
  • To provide a focus around which all baseball associations in Canada can come together to support good practice in working with children and young people.
  • To promote and reward registration/membership within Baseball Canada, baseball's national federation of sport, as well as within the Provincial Baseball Associations.

Winterball Program

winterball-logoThe primary focus of Winterball is to introduce to children the fundamentals of baseball in a fun manner that is non-competitive and that provides a positive learning experience for all involved.

Designed for students in grades 3-6 (ages 8-12 years), Winterball progresses through activities set out in nine different lesson plans.  Lessons are taught in two sets (Gr. 3-4 and Gr. 5-6) to ensure students learn at an appropriate skill and ability level.

You Wish You Could Throw Like a Girl!

Third Annual Girls Day in Baseball

When: Saturday, July 21st 2012 from 10am-3pm

Where: Memorial Field, Miramichi NB

For all girls aged 6 - 16          Registration Form

 

Baseball New Brunswick is proud to announce it will be holding its Third Annual Girls Day in Baseball. This event is free to attend and will be held on July 21st, 2012 at Memorial Field in Miramichi, NB. It will run from 10a.m. to 3p.m. and is for all girls ages 6 to 16 (Rally cap, Mosquito, PeeWee and Bantam ages). This will be a fun filled day with lots of practice and learning. Current and Former Female players from Team Nova Scotia and Team New Brunswick will be in attendance and every player registered will receive a Pink Baseball Cap! A BBQ lunch will be offered from 12:30-1:30. For all girls who are interested please register before July 18th, 2012 by visiting the Baseball New Brunswick website at www.baseballnb.ca and follow the link for Girls Baseball.
