On January 14th-16th, Baseball NB -- in conjunction with Baseball Canada and Coach NB -- will be hosting a super coaching clinic at the Delta Beauséjour, in Moncton NB.
A variety of Community, Regional, Comp-Dev and Multi-sport courses will offered over the course of this three day event. Coaches missing components of the NCCP certification should check out the courses being offered at this clinic by clicking the link below.
In addition to the scheduled coaching clinics, on Saturday evening there will be a special presentation by Dennis Holmberg (of the Blue Jays organization) and a speaker on the value of nutrition (as organized by Evan Mcginnis of the Canadian Sport Centre Atlantic).

Baseball New Brunswick (BNB), a non-profit organization that seeks to govern and develop amateur baseball in New Brunswick, is seeking the services of an energetic and flexible person to fill the position of Executive Director to run the day-to-day operations of BNB.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university, preferably with a concentration in Business Administration, Recreation/Sport Management or a related field, combined with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. You must demonstrate abilities in the operation of a computer, including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office, Internet and web site maintenance combined with fund raising experience and highly effective interpersonal, communicational and managerial skills. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
An interest and knowledge of baseball is desirable and fluency in both official languages is required. The location of work is Fredericton. Travel will be required throughout the province; thus, the successful candidate must have own means of transportation.
The position is a full time salaried position; the ideal candidate may be required to work some evenings and weekends. The position reports to an Executive and Board, and is financially supported by the Sport Development Trust Fund.

The 2010 Hall of Fame Banquet will be held at the Delta Fredericton on October 30th with a meet and greet starting at 6:00pm. Along with the unveiling of Baseball New Brunswick’s new hall of fame at the Delta Fredericton, this year’s honoured inductees will be: Official, Richard Neil Thorne; Player, Winston Edward White; and the Woodstock Lions Senior Baseball Team of 1952,53,56,59). Tickets for this year’s event ($50) are available by contacting the Baseball NB office at 506-451-1329.
Selects Camp scheduled for Sunday September 26th is cancelled due to field conditions in fredericton, information for the next camp will be posted soon.
