Baseball New Brunswick (BNB), a non-profit organization that seeks to govern and develop amateur baseball in New Brunswick, is seeking the services of an energetic and flexible person to fill the position of Executive Director to run the day-to-day operations of BNB.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university, preferably with a concentration in Business Administration, Recreation/Sport Management or a related field, combined with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. You must demonstrate abilities in the operation of a computer, including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office, Internet and web site maintenance combined with fund raising experience and highly effective interpersonal, communicational and managerial skills. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
An interest and knowledge of baseball is desirable and fluency in both official languages is required. The location of work is Fredericton. Travel will be required throughout the province; thus, the successful candidate must have own means of transportation.
The position is a full time salaried position; the ideal candidate may be required to work some evenings and weekends. The position reports to an Executive and Board, and is financially supported by the Sport Development Trust Fund.
